Help Centers

January 2009, Pintech set up four “Walk-in” Help Centers for the Digital Television Transition.  The centers were created to give the public, in four different states, a place to go and receive help with the transition from analog to digital television.  The Help Centers were strategically placed in areas centrally located to provide necessary coverage to each state.  The locations were Charlottesville, Virginia; Charleston, West Virginia; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Columbia, South Carolina.

The Help Centers were also locations that controlled all the state’s outreach efforts, technician dispatches, and all other state DTV issues.  Each office was staffed to appropriately cover the individual state’s needs during the transition through March 2009
